Muslims: Dear Muslims, do you consider Al-Qaeda and Osama a threat to Islam? ?

I'm a Hindu and I definitely am agains terrorism and killing in the name of religion since that's what Hinduism is about and the same is with Islam. Al Qaeda is twisting the ideas of Jihad and killing innocent non-muslims. Do you guys consider Al-Qaeda and Bin Laden as a threat to Islam since all terroristic activities have been giving a bad name to the religion?
