Will Americans just shrug and say, "man that shouldn't have happened", when Huckabee at Fox announce Bush won?

Just wondering. Since the 2000 election, and the complete atrocity, just wondering how much of a stupor Americans are still in? Yeah, I am politically adept. I am only frightened by how easy it has been to do away with Free and meaningful elections in our Great Country?
