I want my own car but my parents wont pay for insurance?

You had better find out how insurance works first. You buy a car and have a friend drive it home... what good will that do, the car is still not insured. The car is insured, not the driver. Now if you can or do buy a car they still do not have to buy insurance for you. So what to do???? Get a job and pay for your own insurance... then you will also understand why your parents don't want to pay for it.
