Has anyone had a dog that has torn their ACL on both legs?

He must be terribly defective, or he is very overweight. A Bichon is a lightweight dog, do you have wooden floors or tile? That can be a problem especially if the dog is overweight. This is a very painfull condition for him,I never heard of the tendon tearing repeatedly-unless you let him run around after the surgery. I would get a second opinion on the dogs prognosis.
