BA in criminal justice - now what?

I graduated magna "kum" laude in the top 7% of my cl, in 2 honor societies (Phi Kappa Phi, and Lambda Alpha Sigma). I have been out of college for 3 years now and still do not have a career in my field. I don't really know what area I want to work, so at this point I would do anything just to get a foot in. I've taken the Law Enforcement Exam and got a great score - it went nowhere. What is the best way to make contacts and get a job in this field??? I live in NJ so opportunities are limited.
