How come the Catholic Church has billions for scandals but no millions to feed the straving in Mexico?

Money for scandals is as ill spent as the Catholic church monies spent on housing Arellano and her son for a year. They seem to support an awful lot of criminals. Further, people are not starving in Mexico, that is just another spin of the greedy to justify the take.
